Pocket-hole joinery or pocket-screw joinery is one

of the best methods for joining two pieces of wood

to ever come down the pike. Fixing a squeaky chair,

or a wiggly table, is as easy as adding a few pocket

holes and screws to pull the separating pieces

together. General’s Pocket Hole Screws No. 8497

and 8498 are used specifically for this purpose and

are offered in both fine and coarse thread.

POCKET HOLE PLUGS

Pocket Holes are often hidden from sight on the back

surface of a face frame, under a table top, or on the

back of picture frame. What do you do about

unattractive pocket holes that will be visible on a

finished product the answer? Pocket hole plugs!

These wood plugs, made from 100% hardwood,

can make the pocket holes beautifully disappear.

The E-Z Step Drill Bit is great for creating pocket

hole joints or counter boring. The 3/8" bit is made

of high speed steel and includes a drill stop and

hex wrench for accurate setting of drill depth.
